Road Directions to Port Townsend
Transportation > Directions
Port Townsend is a fairly small town with extremely limited parking
in the downtown area. We highly encourage you to park your car
in the Haines Place Park-N-Ride Lot and using the Jefferson Transit
buses to get around. The Park-N-Ride can be found to the left on
Haines Place near Safeway on Hwy 20/Sims Way as you are coming
into town from the south (coming from the ferry Haines Place would
be on the right). There is ample parking and access Jefferson County
Transit buses there including the downtown shuttle. See the Jefferson
Transit map showing the Downtown Shuttle route and the location
of the Park-N-Ride. Maps of Port Townsend are
available.
