Antiques and family favorites please travelers and local weekenders and provide respite from the city while allowing the enjoyment of each others company. Since 1888, our "commanding and commodious" presence on Franklin Street has been a landmark to locals with its unique architecture. Built as a Georgian home it was re-styled in 1904 by Gertie and Harry Barthrop using a Richardsonian flare, with a grand and friendly countenance.
