Just five miles from historic Port Townsend, on a private road, and adjacent to several acres of old fir and cedars, an area we call the magic forest. We live in a two-story Lindal Cedar home on high bank waterfront overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Our view includes Protection Island, the San Juan Islands, the lights of Victoria on Vancouver Island, and the Olympic Mountains. You'll have a private entrance to the entire 1350 sq. feet of the first floor which will be your private get away. You’ll have a great room (well stocked kitchen--stove top, microwave, coffee pot, and all the cookware you could need), dining and living space with a queen sleeper sofa). The separate bedroom has a huge walk-in closet and views of the water and the gardens. The large bathroom has a shower, two sinks, and a washing machine (no dryer but plenty of space for air-drying your clothes). The great room opens onto a flagstone patio, sheltered from any rain, that houses a double swing, wicker furniture, and a gas grill for your use. Eat outside (meals that you've prepared yourself!) on this patio, or on the patios closer to the bluff. One patio has a small firepit if you want to enjoy a campfire in the evening. Expect to meet our dog Elmo, who is friendly and lovable, and who will greet you as the welcomed guest you are. |
